Become Boulder
Designed a logo for a freelance client that symbolizes both the art of teaching and the tranquility of Colorado’s landscapes. The design blends elements of education and natural serenity, reflecting the peaceful surroundings of the region.
Logo Design
This logo was designed for a new yoga studio called Become Boulder, based in Boulder, Colorado. The founder, a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher, envisioned creating a space where instructors could unwind and reconnect with themselves. She expressed a desire for the logo to reflect her move to Boulder, as well as the themes of education and yoga. I chose to focus on the serene, calming aspects of yoga, incorporating elements of Colorado’s landscape. Additionally, I included an open book to symbolize both the natural surroundings and the educational aspect of the studio. The client also emphasized wanting a logo with an illustrative, creative feel, which I aimed to capture in the design.

With the goal of reflecting the mindset that yoga cultivates, I chose to design a landscape-themed landing page to capture that essence. Building on the logo, I created a crystalized landscape that highlights the beauty of her new mountain location. I also incorporated imagery of people practicing yoga throughout the website to maintain a balanced feel while keeping the viewer engaged.
